The essence of an audit
An audit assesses whether pre-defined requirements, objectives and agreements are being adhered to and implemented within an organization. However, an audit is not about looking for faults. It is an opportunity to improve.
My approach is different
As an auditor, I am not the “quality police”. I am an advisor and sparring partner:
An audit should not cause stress. When an anomaly is found, it is not critical — it’s an indication of risk. All systems have weak spots. The challenge is to make these transparent and to steer on them, my uninhibited professional view is of great added value here.
Because of my focus on risks and practical applicability, the best is achieved by the people and organization — resulting in a more reliable and stronger result.
Internal audits
Internal audits are professional, objective, and critical analyses of an organization’s own quality management system (QMS), environmental management system (EMS), occupational health and safety management system (OH&SMS), information security management system (ISMS), artificial intelligence management system (AIMS), or a combination of these within an integrated management system. (IMS). This provides concrete recommendations for improving performance and assessing the effectiveness of control measures on which management can decide.
Although internal audits can be conducted by your own employees, this requires specialist knowledge and an open mind. I can provide that objective expertise — independently, experienced and with an eye for what is important.
External audits
External audits focus on the efficiency and maturity of processes and systems. This can be in the context of certification, but also as a supplier assessment or independent assessment of your QMS or ISMS.
Thanks to my years of experience and specialist knowledge, I go further than just identifying non-conformities: I provide targeted recommendations that are directly applicable in your practice.
Audit preparation & training
Good preparation makes all the difference.
These sessions are always focused on the practice of your organization — not standard training material, but direct applicability.
