Compliance and quality assurance in conjunction

In this context, EN 18286 and ISO/IEC 42001 are two clearly distinguishable but complementary standards. Where EN 18286 is primarily focused on compliance with the AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 provides a broader management framework that focuses on transparency, effectiveness, and preventing bias in AI applications.
